TWENTY COMPUTERS WERE DISTRIBUTED BY UMZIMVUBU MUNICIPALITY TO EXCELLENT SCHOOLS IN GRADE 10

On the 30th of May this year, Umzimvubu Local Municipality handed out state-of-the-art gifts to four schools across the country.

These schools included Senyukele Senior Secondary School, Ngele Primary School in Kwa Bhaca and Makaula Senior Secondary School and Lukhanyisweni Senior Primary School in MaXesibeni. The schools were awarded five computers each with their own equipment, a printer, and a wireless router.

“We are here today to bring development to Mzimvubu schools, where every year we have a program to develop children in technology in modern technology. We have identified two high schools that have excelled in the matric results and two primary schools close to the best schools, and transfer their children to high school. Mzimvubu Municipality is caring and committed to development, “said Cllr Inga Nodal, a consultant leading Corporate Services in the Municipality.

The mayor said “we as a municipality have seen the need to develop our children in the field of computer literacy at an early age. From today students will be able to do their homework easily because there will be no need to go to town to do assignments and spray jobs, everything will be available here at school”.

Mayor Cllr Zukiswa Ndevu concluded his talk by encouraging students and teachers to take care of these tools to keep them in good condition.

Congratulating the schools Mr Mlenzana on the Makaula school committee, said he was very grateful and proud of our government for the good work it has done.
