Uitenhage K9 members and their k9’s continue to curb crime effectively​ 

GQEBERHA – 18 May 2022 – Members from the Uitenhage K9 Unit and their K9 partners continue to curb crime effectively in Gqeberha.

On Tuesday, 17 May 2022 at about 06:09, Uitenhage K9 Unit members received an active tracker signal that directed them to an address in KwaMagxaki.​ Members discovered a blue Ford Lazer parked inside the garage. This vehicle was reported stolen at 04:30 the same morning in Kwanobuhle.​ Intensive investigations led to the arrest of a 36-year-old male.​ ​ ​ ​ ​ ​ ​ ​ ​ ​ ​ ​ ​ ​ ​

The 36-year-old male suspect is due to appear in the Kwanobuhle Magistrate’s Court on a charge of possession of suspected stolen property during the course of this week.​
