Police in Gqeberha are investigating the death of three children in Motherwell which happened on Sunday November 7.
The children are age 11, 7, and a 4-month old baby. It is alleged that the children left with their grandparents on Saturday to visit family in New Brighton.
The following day, the 11-year-old girl went to the shop to buy noodles. The children ate the Noodles right before they left for home (Motherwell).
Upon arrival, the 11-year-old girl complained of suffering from nausea, a few minutes later the 7 year-old complained of stomach cramps and nausea.
They were rushed to the nearest clinic, but unfortunately died on the way.
Not long after the two older children were rushed to the clinic, the 4 month old baby also died on the way to the hospital. The baby was in a separate car from the older two.
The health centre will conduct a Post mortem to determine the cause of death.
