Young EL Entrepreneur Produces accessories from Bamboo

Akahlulwa Sithole, 17, is a young innovative entrepreneur from East London who came up with a brilliant concept of making products using the Bamboo tree.

He has always been a creative at heart because unlike kids his age, he is currently studying graphic designing at Baysville school of skills. He said, “My mother [Linda Sithole] is the driving force behind it all because she’s the one who motivated me to nurture my creative mind at a very young age”.

His decision to venture into the business industry just a month ago was greatly influenced by his mother. His Bamboo Product Business is centered around manufacturing sunglasses and watches that have a woody touch.

He said, “I have a lot of exciting ideas in mind and I intend on expanding the business and introducing more products in the future”.

He is such an inspiration to his peers in the sense that he is depicting that you can set your mind on something and actually follow through with it. All you need is guidance, be driven and have the willingness to put in the work.
