On October 2, Reverend Nxele and his wife hosted a revival service in UCCSA at Fort Beaufort, in the Eastern Cape. A revival is a Christian religious services held to inspire active members of a church body to gain new converts and to call sinners to repent.
The United Congregational Church of Southern African (UCCSA) were joined by a very well-known person named Nomonde Vakalisa who was a guest preacher during the service. Nomonde Vakalisa is a radio presenter that hails from Mount Ayliff from the village called Msukeni. Nomonde co-hosts Imvuselelo (revival) on Sundays with Reverend Faleni and Tuesdays the gospel music show Iqonga Levangeli on Umhlobo Wenene FM.
Reverend Nxele at the end of the service said, “We’re living in difficult times where most people lose faith in God since they’ve lost their loved ones due to Covid. Don’t give up on God because this is just a season in your life”.
UCCSA is a transnational, multi-cultural and multi – ethnic church denomination which is united across five Southern African countries, namely Botswana, Mozambique, Namibia, South Africa and Zimbabwe.
