Kumkani FM Pay My Bills assists WSU student

Kumkani FM’s Pay My Bill initiative has helped a student from Walter Sisulu University (WSU) who is studying towards building at the East London Buffalo City Campus with food parcels.

The student from WSU sent a voice note on the Afternoon show “Hustlers Drive” with King asking for assistance by Kumkani FM. She further explained that she currently does not have NSFAS and is struggling with buying food. 
The station gives away vouchers worth R500 every Friday to those in need.

The give take place during the Afternoon Drive from Monday to Wednesday at 17:51 on Hustlers Drive show 15:00 to 18:00. In order to stand a chance to win, people can send voice notes on Whatsapp at ‪060 389 4178‬, commuters will listen and vote for the most deserving story. 

The winner will be announced every Thursday at 17:59. Winners will be able to collect their prize on Friday at the station. 

The student who is not named in the press release showed her gratitude by thanking the listeners and the station, “I would like to thank the listeners for voting for me, this means a lot to me”.
