Kamvelihle Kilani, also known as Kaylani and Sisipho Breakfast, started 3Ps Media House in 2020 as a dynamic communication and public relations organization with a core focus on corporate publicity, small business exposure, social media management, marketing, and brand identity.

The media house was founded by these two Walter Sisulu University Public Relations students with the goal of assisting South African Kasi SMEs and brands in their growth. Their communications team steps in to educate, expand, and create companies, assisting most brands that lack a marketing or public relations budget or have limited knowledge of public relations.

“With these very high numbers of unemployment in South Africa, creating your own opportunities is the best thing to do instead of waiting for Government to do so”, said Sisipho.

The 3ps Media House specializes on Public Affairs (activism and pressure groups), Crisis Management (social responsibility and PR Programs CSR), Publicity & Promotions ( Annual/monthly reports, posters, creative ideas, quarterly reviews and publications), research & Enterprise (monitoring and evaluation, opinion polls/attitude survey and environmental scanning) , Media Relations (newspaper/magazines, film/radio/TV liason) and Events Management (sponsorship, community relations, exhibitions and artist PR Management).

“If you have an idea, do your research, Implement it and always be willing to learn. Start with what you have, where you are”, said Kaylani.

Kaylani added that they don’t have an office yet and he works out of his room and the school’s residence study area, but it doesn’t stop them from working and gaining clients.

Kaylani has worked for a variety of media firms, including Mdantsane FM, Kumkani FM, Link FM, BCM TV, Mandla Makubalo radio, and as a freelancer for Yakha Magazine, where he gained his motivation.

About 12 students are completing their in-service training in journalism and public relations management at the 3ps Media House.

Kaylani added that they do not have an office yet, he uses his room and the school’s residence study room but that does not stop them from working, and they have also gained clients.
