Hi-Tec Security facebook page reports that the South African Police service (SAPS) has been informed that a meeting has been called for 11:00 at the BATA taxi rank opposite Engen garage. There will be a discussion about what has happened today and the way forward. It is still unclear who these leaders are and whether the original leaders of the original shutdown will take back control. Once the meeting has taken place SAPS will release an update of which we will inform residents.
“It’s bad we all at home whole town has been shut down tyres burning all over town,” said Makhanda (Grahamstown) resident Razia Gangat.
