On Friday May 21 was the last day of the two-day visit to the Nelson Mandela Bay Metro. The day started nice and early, with the official opening of the newly built James Ndundula Primary School in Kariega (former Uitenhage).
This was followed by the affirmation of youth projects, where the Provincial Government handed out Isiqalo Fund cheques to young businesses that are making their mark in various industries.
The day ended with a visit by the EXCO to various Vaccination registration sites, where the vaccination drive was activated. Premier Mabuyane addressed the elderly people at Nangoza Jebe Hall in New Brighton and commended them for taking control of their lives by registering to vaccinate for COVID-19.
