Eastern Cape Premier, Hon. Lubabalo Oscar Mabuyane – MPL, will tomorrow on Wednesday the 14th of April 2021, visit Xolilizwe High School in Nqadu near Willowvale in the Mbashe Local Municipality in the Amathole District Municipality.
Premier Mabuyane’s visit follows on the heels of the school’s success with the Matric Class of 2020, which also saw student, Mr. Simamkele Bongo, receive an award from the MEC for Education, for placing as a top three (3) learner in the national quintile 2 category.
Xolilizwe High School achieved an 82 % overall matric pass rate, with 72 Bachelor passes and 21 Diplomas.
Premier Mabuyane is expected to pay tribute to the learners and educators alike in acknowledgement of the school’s National School Certificate (NSC) exams results performance.

Premier Mabuyane, who will be supported in the visit to the school by local traditional authority Chief Salakuphathwa – AHH! ZANENKULULEKO, Mbashe Local Municipality Mayor, Cllr. Samkelo Nicholas Janda, and acting Head of Department (HoD) in the Eastern Cape Department of Education, Mr. Ray Tywakadi, will be issuing certificates of acknowledgement and educational material to the learners.
