Concern over missing woman in Maclear

Police are seeking the community’s assistance in tracing and locating a 38-year-old woman who went missing from Maclear on 18 October 2020.

It is alleged that at about 5pm that day, Eva Ayetey, told her uncle, who is originally from Ghana and who she is assisting at his shop, that she was going to her place of residence as she was not feeling well.

The next day the uncle phoned her but could not get hold of her and decided to go check on her to see if she was feeling better, but there was no trace of her.

The last time she was seen she was wearing a white dress with flowers and black shoes. She is dark in complexion and approximately 1.5m tall.

Police spokesperson Captain Ursula Roelofse said they are appealing to anyone who can assist in locating Eva Ayetey to urgently contact detective constable Zanele Magawu at 082 4422 499 or SAPS Crime Stop 08600 10111 or their nearest police station.
